Sunset Lollapalooza

As you know from my previous blogs, I packed up my life and started a new one in a new state. As I moved into a new house, the outside was large and unfinished. Meanwhile, my mother began her final journey, passing away over the 4th of July weekend. I’ve since moved my office and set it up as it was in California. I’ve started writing again. While I had a temporary desk in my master bedroom, I couldn’t seem to be productive at it. Another problem was that the desk was smaller and the screen was closer to my eyes than my glasses were designed for.

I’m resetting my writing life starting with getting back on schedule with my newsletter. I was planning on returning to finish Witch’s Quest—the second book in the Stephanie Jones series, but I was struggling to add words. So, I’ve pivoted and I’m working on Jill Quint # 15, “POISONOUS DEATH.” Depending on how my writing goes I might work on Damian Green # 6 EMERALD BAY MURDER, at the same time. I’m distracted now as I am an Olympics fan, but once the closing ceremonies happen, it will be pedal to the metal, or in this case, keyboard to the screen. Hopefully, by the time of my next newsletter, I'll have pre-order dates and a description of these stories. Hopefully.

I’ll leave you with some spectacular sunset pictures. I can’t explain why I find sunsets so awesome, but I’m getting my fill of them here.

Cheers,

Alec
